Giving Tuesday

Mission: Our goal is to establish resource centers in low-income communities in Saint Lucia to help residents reach their full potential academically and professionally.

#GivingTuesday: We are excited to be a part of #GivingTuesday, a global movement for generosity and positive change. This is an opportunity for everyone to come together and support our cause.

Impact:

• We provided school uniforms to at-risk youth from the Bishop Charles Gachet RC Primary School.

• We provided building materials to a family of seven who unfortunately lost their home to a fire.

• We have assisted volunteers with job placement.

• We have built relationships with the schools and key stakeholders in the community.

• We have provided employment to members in the community of Marchand through one-off projects.

• We have built a positive reputation in the community of Marchand through engagement.

Research:

• From a sample size of 96 students from the Bishop Charles Gachet RC Primary School, our research shows that 66% of students do not have access to the internet at home or the required school textbooks. Over 50% of the students' reading levels are below average, and our aim is to change that.
